This book is a wonderful easy-reader style book. The text is written simply while still providing a lot of information on the Olmec. We also really enjoyed the artwork. All the pages are a zoomed in image from the first full page picture, which prompted my son and I to want to go back after every page and find the image in the original picture. It’s very difficult to find (if any) books for children on the Olmec and we really appreciated that they took the time to make a children’s book on the Olmec.
